Christy and Andrew's Engagement Session at Anoka Nature Preserve

What a wonderfully winter day in Anoka, Minnesota! I can't tell you how amazing how it was to be out in the beautiful snow shooting a golden hour sunset engagement session! Christy and Andrew were an absolute dream!!! I am so excited to share some of these amazing images from their shoot! I think the Anoka Nature Preserve is my new favorite place to take photos!

When I started talking to Christy, I knew instantly she was going to be an amazing bride-to-be! She was sending me some beautiful dress ideas and I am so in love with the outfit choices! With it being only 20 degrees (Fahrenheit) outside, we had a nice little walk thru the woods to get to this incredible field at the Anoka Nature Preserve. Andrew was such a trooper and definitely felt the cold more than Christy did, but I think once they got a little more snuggling in (and a few kisses), they totally rocked their debut! We definitely have to give a shoutout to #Carhartt for their amazingly warm hats, as it's pictured during our freezing cold shoot. From the rescheduling due to the NEGATIVE temperatures, to the cold they endured to take these photos, I'm so excited for their wedding with their family in Two Harbors this coming April 2021. I mean... How cool is a wedding date of 4.3.21?! Brilliant!

Q: How did you and your fiancé meet?

A: We met in high school and 3 years later we met again online.

Q: How did you get engaged?

A: New Years Eve at midnight with drinks and tacos!

Q: What do you love about each other?

A: Our willingness to see past all the flaws and still love each other. Our friendship we have with each other and the close relationships we have with our families too.

Q: What are your favorite things to do as a couple?

A: Cuddle our dog Axel, play games together and anything baseball or fishing related.

Q: What are you looking forward to most about being married? A: Building that bond and relationship even more.

Q:If you could do anything in the entire world together (time and money was not an issue), what would you do?

A: Go on an insane adventure. And/Or adopt all the dogs on a big farm up North. {This has Christy written all over it.}

Q: What are some of your favorite things?

A: We love the Star Wars franchise {Obviously we need to be friends!}, Harry Potter, MCU Movies {Seriously... My favorite kind of people!!!}. I love to knit while he plays video games and hang out and spend quality time with each other. We like cooking together in the kitchen and trying new recipes.
